St. Louis Auditions

*To sign up for an appointment, please call 314-604-6127 Monday through Friday between 10:00am – 3:00pm beginning Wednesday, January 9th, 2019. All AEA members will have top priority in making appointments. 

Please prepare a 32 bar cut of a song in a style appropriate to the shows this season.  Be prepared to sing an additional selection if requested.  Bring sheet music in your key.  No lead sheets; no transpositions.  An accompanist will be provided.  Bring a photo ID, Equity Membership Card (if applicable), and a current headshot with resume.  Auditions are open to performers who will be 18 years old by May 1, 2019. 

Callbacks will be held on Sunday, January 20th, and you must attend if called back in order to be considered for the season.  Callbacks will be announced via email late Friday evening.  Please make sure you provide a VALID email address on your registration form as this is the only way you’ll find out about a callback. If you do not receive an email by 12 a.m. you are not called back.

Please be aware that this is not a principal audition day.

Come prepared to dance.  Women should bring character heels and jazz shoes; men should bring jazz shoes/sneakers.  You must be signed up by the appropriate time in order to be seen that day.  Dancers will be asked to sing.  Please prepare a 32 bar cut of a song in a style appropriate to the shows this season.  Be prepared to sing additional selections if requested.  Bring sheet music in your key.  No lead sheets; no transpositions.  An accompanist will be provided.  Bring a photo ID, Equity Membership Card (if applicable), and a current headshot with resume.  Auditions are open to performers who will be 18 years old by May 1, 2019.

Disney’s 101 Dalmatians
Dalmatian Puppies:  Seeking male and female singer/dancers, Ages 8 – 18

Auditions will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at 10:00am

Sign up will be from 9:00am – 10:30am

Auditions are open to performers who will be at least 8 years old by May 1, 2019, and are not older than 18 years of age. 

Please bring a current photo and resume.  Please come to the audition prepared to dance.  Bring jazz shoes or tennis shoes if you do not own dance shoes. 

You will be taught a dance combination by the choreographer.  You will have the opportunity to ask questions and to practice.  After you learn the combination, you will perform in small groups. 

After the dance portion, you MAY be asked to sing.  Please prepare 32 bars of any Disney song.  Bring sheet music in your key.  No lead sheets, no transpositions; an accompanist will be provided. 

You will NOT be able to use recorded tracks to audition.

Contract

STAGES works under a L.O.A. to C.O.S.T. Equity contract and L.O.A. to TYA Equity Contract. Each season we hire a select number of non-Equity actors. All performers not signed to an Equity contract are hired with pay and are eligible to register with the Equity Membership Candidate Program.
