Stages St. Louis was recognized today with 27 Kevin Kline Award nominations, the most it has ever received in one year, for all four of its 2009 productions. STAGES was the top recipient of total nominations for the Awards, which honor professional theatre in the St. Louis area. The 5th Annual Kline Awards Ceremony will be held Monday, March 22 at the Loretto-Hilton Center on the campus of Webster University.

STAGES ST. LOUIS Celebrates Success at APPLAUSE! 2009

Stages St. Louis announced today that its eighth annual gala auction, APPLAUSE! 2009, raised proceeds of $272,000 this past Friday. This year’s numbers come on the heels of a difficult economic year for the arts community, but one that saw success at STAGES with ticket revenues holding steady at nearly 1.7 million dollars and the American regional premiere of The Drowsy Chaperone, which went on to become the best selling show in STAGES history.

STAGES ST. LOUIS Announces 2010 Season

Stages St. Louis proudly announces its 2010 24th season, which will begin May 28 with Big River: The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, followed by the 1960s classic Promises, Promises, and conclude with the quintessential Midwest musical, Rodgers and Hammerstein's State Fair. The season will run through October 3, 2010.
