    Teaching Artist Position

    STAGES ST. LOUIS is seeking Teaching Artists for both the Academy and its Outreach programs in the following disciplines: 

    Acting
    Musical Theatre
    Dance
    Private Voice
    Special Education

    Applicants must have previous teaching and professional performance experience. Applicants should also possess classroom management skills, creativity, reliability, and strong interpersonal skills. All teachers must be able to work independently with students of all ages, as well as collaborate within a team of other teaching artists. This is a contracted position and hours will vary. Please indicate your availability in your cover letter. 

    All Teaching Artists will be required to submit to a background check before beginning classes. You must have a reliable form of transportation as outreach teaching artists must travel to various schools and/or community centers in which classes are being offered.

    Summer Internships

    STAGES Performing Arts Academy is looking to fill two internship positions in the Education Department every summer. Interns work as classroom and administrative assistants. We are especially interested in someone that may be interested in a teaching career and works well with children. We are looking for a team player that has a passion for musical theatre and experience in singing, acting and dancing. 

    The internship runs June-August with exact start and end dates being 

    somewhat flexible. Weekly stipend.
