ALWAYS… PATSY CLINE STAR HEADLINES ANNUAL GALA To Benefit STAGES Education & Artistic Programs  (10.25.13)

ST. LOUIS – On Friday, November 15, 2013 STAGES ST. LOUIS will welcome distinguished guests from the St. Louis Region during its twelfth annual APPLAUSE! Gala at the Ritz-Carlton. A benefit to support the organization’s Education and Artistic Programs. The 2012 APPLAUSE! Gala raised proceeds of over $325,000, 8% of its $3.9 million budget. STAGES ST. LOUIS REACHES NEW HIGHS! 2013 Breaks All Box Office Records (10.23.13)

(ST. LOUIS) – STAGES ST. LOUIS is proud to report that the 27th Season broke all previous box office records. With nearly $2 million in ticket sales, the season saw a significant increase in box office revenue of 8% over 2012 sales, out-grossing any season in STAGES’ 27-year history. RAC AWARDS $43K INNOVATION GRANT TO STAGES ST. LOUIS (02.11.13)

(St. Louis, MO)  The Regional Arts Commission recently awarded the first-ever Innovation Grants, totaling $466,000 to nine St. Louis cultural organizations including STAGES ST. LOUIS, Shakespeare Festival of Saint Louis, Craft Alliance, and the Contemporary Art Museum, among others.  The grants support groups that think in new ways and take risks to accomplish artistic or administrative goals.  A total of $43,000 was awarded to STAGES to fund the creation of the new American Musical Creative (AMC) division.  This new program aims to establish St. Louis as a hub for the creation of new American musical theater productions.............download rest of article.

STAGES ST. LOUIS WELCOMES NEW MEMBER OF THE EXECUTIVE TEAM (02.5/13)

LOUIS is thrilled to welcome Stephen Bourneuf, Associate Artistic Director, as a full-time employee and newest member of the Executive staff.  Born and raised in St. Louis, Stephen Bourneuf began his career performing locally at the MUNY and Six Flags over Mid America while attending St. Louis University High School and St. Louis University.  Upon graduating, he moved to New York City, eventually performing in eight Broadway shows including A CHORUS LINE, DREAMGIRLS and HELLO, DOLLY!, as well as many national tours and regional productions.............download rest of article.

STAGES ST. LOUIS proudly announces its 27th season! The season opens with the touching and true story of Country music legend Patsy Cline and her friendship with Texas housewife Louise Seger in the musical Always… Patsy Cline (May 31 - June 30).  Next up, STAGES goes pink with the Broadway hit about a sorority girl determined to prove everyone wrong, including herself in Legally Blonde, The Musical (July 19 - August 18).  The season concludes with one of the great literary classics in the grand musical theatre tradition, Lerner and Loewe’s My Fair Lady (September 6 - October 6). The three main stage shows will play at The Robert G.
